Giltner Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and student-focused High School Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. This individual will be responsible for managing the high school special education caseload, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and working collaboratively with students, staff, and families to support student success.

- Manage and oversee special education services for students in seventh - 12th grade.
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Provide individual and small-group instruction tailored to students' needs and learning goals.
- Co-teach with general education teachers in core subject areas to support student learning and inclusion.
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and service providers to ensure a team-based approach to student support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence.
- Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Special Education.
- Strong skills in collaboration, organization, and communication.
- Coaching positions available in multiple sports and activities.
