What are the responsibilities and job description for the K-12 Music Teacher position at Nebraska Department of Education?
Creek Valley Public Schools is seeking a K-12 Music Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. We are looking for an individual with an exceptional ability to connect with students and adults and one who knows how to make music come alive for others. This role includes everything from elementary general music to beginning band and choir to high school performing groups. Our current programs have set the table for future success. Music is both fun and a challenging discipline. The right candidate will know how to balance both for our school community.
Applicants must hold a current Nebraska teaching certificate with the proper endorsements or be able to obtain one. We will enthusiastically support the right candidate through this process. Ideally, our chosen candidate will have experience in a similar role. We are also happy to help a new or newer teacher gain experience through supportive coaching and colleagues. Candidates who are student teaching or who are transitioning to teaching from another field are encouraged to apply. Compensation includes full family health insurance.
