Responsibilities
- Collaborate with current Kindergarten and First Grade teachers to develop and implement instructional strategies and educational activities tailored to meet the needs of all students.
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in math and reading that cater to the abilities of students in a combined class setting of Kindergarten and First Grade.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to foster individual growth and improvement.
- Support the creation and execution of classroom activities that stimulate learning in a fun and inclusive manner.
- Participate in teacher meetings, communicating effectively with other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student education and wellbeing.
- Assist in the management of classroom behavior, maintaining a calm and productive learning environment.
- Prepare educational materials and resources that reinforce learning concepts.
- Communicate regularly with Kindergarten and First grade teachers as well as parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
