- Create a structured nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning through play and exploration.
- Teach fundamental skills such as early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social-emotional development.
- Use differentiated instruction to support diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities and English Language Learners (ELLs).
- Conduct ongoing assessments to track student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Support the development of good hygiene practices, which includes potty training.
- Maintain high standards in regard to classroom management practices that are age appropriate.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, progress reports, and parent communication logs.
- Collaborate with special education staff, support personnel, and administrators to provide appropriate interventions.
- Engage in regular communication with parents and guardians through conferences, newsletters, and meetings. (Add Home Visits)
