Job Description
The Central Operations and Materiel Services (COMS) Department of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is dedicated to ensuring the security and efficiency of our facilities across the state. What You Will Do
As the Software Support Specialist for DHHS Central Operations, you will manage and support various security systems across 73 locations, including 7 24/7 secure facilities.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
Corrigo Software Management: Program and configure Corrigo (Central Operations Work Order Management System) software to manage the flow of work orders and identify change necessary to the infrastructure of the system to better suit DHHS needs. Set up new sites, users, events, and groups within the system.
Procore Software Management: Program and configure Procore (Project Management Software for the Central Operations Department) to assist in properly managing multiple projects. Set up new sites, users, events, and groups within the system.
C-CURE Software Management: Program and configure C-CURE software to manage secure locations, doors, access groups, and other security settings. Set up new sites, users, events, and groups within the system.
Field Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve security system issues both remotely and on-site. Handle software and hardware issues related to badge readers, servers, door hardware, and cameras. Ensure security systems function optimally.
Building Systems & Installations: Ensure electrical systems are compatible with security components. Use hand and power tools to install, replace, and maintain security cameras, badge readers, and door components.
Site Assessments & Emergency Response: Conduct site assessments during emergencies (e.g., floods, power outages) and recommend closures or modifications to building access. Notify leadership and HR as necessary, and lead recovery efforts across multiple locations.
Training & Development: Develop and deliver training on building access control procedures and unauthorized entry prevention for staff and security personnel.
Building Plans & Security Analysis: Read and interpret building plans and technical drawings to determine secure access points and ensure compatibility with security requirements and budget.
Coordination & Support: Provide backup for move coordination, managing office furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) changes across locations, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.

Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: At least one year of post high school coursework or experience in: administration, office management, accounting, finance, planning, policy analysis and implementation, administrative/management analysis, operations research, program evaluation, research, or similar fields or in a field related to the programs or functions of the employing agency.

- Knowledge: A solid understanding of security systems, especially C-CURE or similar software, as well as building systems and emergency management protocols.
- Skills: Expertise in troubleshooting security system issues, installing and maintaining security equipment, and using hand/power tools. Ability to create and deliver effective training on security and access protocols.
- Abilities: The ability to assess situations during both normal and emergency conditions, resolve issues quickly, and make decisions that prioritize security. You will manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively with teams, vendors, and agencies.
