The Customer Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for onboarding new customers & existing customers to the Caterpillar digital platforms to drive success with the tools as well as other solution offerings from NMC CAT. The Customer Onboarding Specialist will train new and existing customers on PCC, CAT Inspect, CAT Central, QR Codes, SIS2GO, Vision Link and any additional digital solutions to support their operations and drive ease of doing business with NMC CAT. This position will also be responsible for supporting the Digital Team for processes related to customer onboarding and connectivity. This person will be based out of the Omaha dealership but will travel to customers across Nebraska. Some overnight travel will be required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Educate and train customers & NMC Cat teams on Cat Digital Solutions, including but not limited to: Parts.Cat.com, Cat Central, Cat Inspect, SIS2GO, Vision Link & Cat Card
- Manage and oversee customer onboarding process for their targeted customers to assist them with registration and obtaining Cat log in credentials (CWS ID)
- Support customer requests for access to Vision Link, Cat Central, Parts.Cat.com, Cat Inspect and SIS2Go
- Support customers that have login issues and help resolve customer issues in the Cat digital platforms
- Schedule and manage onsite visits with customers to help train and onboard customers to the Cat digital ecosystem. Discuss and understand customer needs to drive parts and service growth
- Help manage requests from CAT Digital for support issues
- Track customer requests, visits, conversations and follow ups within CRM system
- Follow up with customer with an established cadence of touchpoints to ensure understanding, customer satisfaction & if additional training is needed
- Serve as the trainer to external customers on Cat technology products. This consists of a full walk through and demonstration.
