Job Details

48 bed unit caring for medical surgical patients specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Mixed acuity unit, ratios vary.

Specialty : Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN

Years of experience REQ : 2 Years

First-timers accepted : YES

Weekend REQ : Four weekend shifts in a four-week schedule period (two weekends in a four week period or one shift / weekend for a four week period)

Holiday Requirement : Travelers must work 2 / 3 major holidays - please submit this request with application

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs : YES

Locals Accepted : NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)

Pending license accepted : Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out.

RTO restrictions : Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with application.

100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY

Scrubs : MANDATORY - RNs wear Steele gray scrubs with the Nebraska Medicine logo printed on the back.

Job Requirements

BLS (ACLS strongly preferred)

State License 1 Verification

NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP)

NIH Stroke Certification

Schedule Information

Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with application.

Units at Bellevue Medical Center – BMC 4th Floor (MS / Tele)

Additional Details

Government-Issued Photo ID Required

Background Check within 30 days of start, that includes all locations lived / worked / in school within past 7 years and updated annually.

2 references from work within the past 2 years. If not a current traveler, one reference must be from most recent employer.
