Job Details

  • 13 or 26 week option!
  • Heart & Vascular Unit - 7HVU is a 49-bed unit.
  • Specialty medical / surgical unit that is fast paced.
  • Care for specialty patients, such as stable heart and lung transplants, and Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs).
  • Ratios are 1 : 5 days / 1 : 6 nights. Night ratios can be 1 : 7 (rare).
  • Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN
  • 2 years of prior Telemetry experience preferred (must have 2 years experience in large, urban hospital).
  • Drips are required on all floors.
  • First timers NOT accepted (will consider if the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level 1 Academic Medical Center).
  • Will float within scope to meet facility needs (this includes potentially floating to Bellevue campus).
  • 100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY.

    • Job Requirements

  • 2 years of prior Telemetry experience preferred.
  • BLS, ACLS required.
  • NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
  • EPIC charting experience required.
  • Pending license accepted : Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out.
  • RTO restrictions : Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with application.
  • Weekend Requirement : Two weekends in a four-week schedule period.

  • Two weekends in a four-week schedule period (Saturday / Sunday for day shift, Friday / Saturday for night shift).

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Heart & Vascular Unit - 7HVU is a 49-bed unit.

    • Additional Details

  • Government-Issued Photo ID Required
  • Locals Accepted : NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)
  • Parking : Professionals can obtain a parking permit (cost depends on the lot, approx. $55 / month) or use daily rate parking ($3 to park for 20 hrs).

    • Salary : $3 - $55
