Job Summary:
Location: Shared ServicesAddress: 1725 S. 20th Street. - Omaha, NE
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 6:00am to 2:30pm
Monitor all dryers 1-12 watching dryer time and equipment operation. Empty dryer conveyor in slings, baskets and bins. Directs linen to correct processing areas. Physically moves product to work areas and bags linen. Also operates and handles functions associated with rail lift area.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
1. Operates rail lift system and dryer conveyor.
Operates rail life system and dryer conveyor.
2. Monitors dryers #1 through #12.
Monitors dryers to verify linen is dry before sending to processing rail.
Monitors dryer time and equipment operation.
3. Monitors load sizes and dryness of goods.
Monitors load sizes and dryness of goods.
Advises soiled sort supervisor of large loads identifying linen classification.
4. Works closely with tunnel operator on special assignments.
Works closely with tunnel operator when supervisors assign special assignments based on linen needed.
5. Operates overflow area.
Moves wet sheets from overflow to sheet table.
6. Keep work distributed to work stations.
Sheet cakes to sheet table
Dried work to processing areas.
Re-dry work to dryer staging area.
7. Opens new mops.
Opens any new mops.
Cleans up trash and boxes.
8. Bags or towel rags (and other rags as needed).
Bag mops and towels
Rags washed from tunnels.
Rags from flat work iron.
Places bagged rags in designated storage containers.
9. Keeps work area clean and organized.
Distributes dried goods from rail lift area to correct processing area.
Locates and stages empty baskets/bins for rail lift operator and at dryers.
Keeps floor clean from rewash and trash.
10. End of Day shutdown responsibilities.
All dried items into correct staging areas.
Baskets/bins staged and baskets stacked if needed.
Dryers, and disconnects turned off.

Job Requirements
Education
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Ability to understand, read, speak and write English to the level normally acquired by completing the 12th grade required.
Experience
- Minimum of one year laundry experience preferred.
License/Certifications
