Job Summary

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 3pm to 11:30pm
Responsible for taking direction typically from a Director or Manager and relaying the information to staff. Relays information back to their immediate Director. May identify problem areas and make recommendations to their Director. May assist their Director with staff scheduling, general operations, work coverage, specialized equipment maintenance, etc. Is not responsible for employee evaluations, discipline, hiring or firing of employees but may provide input into these decisions. Is expected to involve their designated Director in the case of any significant problem or issue as well as provide appropriate reporting to their Director on a regular basis.

Coordinate the daily work activities of Environmental Services staff to ensure departmental standards are maintained and objectives met.
Provide training (i.e., 7 Steps Procedure) to ensure understanding of policies and practices.
Inspect work performance to ensure compliance of work and value related behaviors.
Assist developing departmental plans and programs to facilitate information dissemination to staff.
Maintain an adequate level of supplies and equipment to ensure work completion while not exceeding established budget.
Perform duties of staff as needed.

- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
- Minimum two years healthcare environmental services or similar commercial cleaning experience required.
- Minimum two years supervisory experience required.
- Department of Transportation (DOT) Certification preferred.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal communication required.
