Job Summary:
Location: Methodist HospitalAddress: 8303 Dodge St. - Omaha, NE
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 7:00am to 3:30pm
Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments for the hospital to ensure excellent customer service is met and maintained.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
1. Deliver stock and non-stock supplies to departments by following Supply Chain procedures to ensure accurate receipt of items within established timeframes.
2. Process delivery receipts within the current MMIS to accurately document incoming shipments.
3. Ensure all functional processes are resolved for invoices to be paid in a timely manner, including but not limited to the receipt discrepancies, Received Not Invoiced and Invoiced Not Received reports.
4. Inspect incoming packages and sign for shipments to ensure accurate deliveries.
5. Maintain and file packing slip and/or receipt information for all shipments.
6. Prepares all outgoing shipments by creating shipping labels with accurate package information, ensuring correct departments are charged and contacting the proper courier for pick up.
7. Assists with overseeing the loading dock areas by controlling flow of traffic.
8. Assists with delivering shipments to assigned locations within the facility.
9. Assists with coordinating inter-company shipments.
10. Delivers Interoffice and USPS mail to all locations within the campus based on location.
11. Assembles supply kits to ensure adequate stock to cover departmental needs based on location.
12. Complete all tasks and duties assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.
13. Actively participates in continuous improvements within the Supply Chain organization.

Job Requirements
Education
- High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED) or equivalent required.
Experience
- 6 months previous receiving experience preferred.
License/Certifications
- N/A
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Able to operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and motorized carts required.
- Strong verbal communication skills for positive interaction with staff and customers required.
- Basic computer and handheld data entry skills preferred.
- Able to read, write and comprehend various written reports and documents required.
