We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Human Resources Generalist to support and manage various HR functions. This role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded understanding of HR practices and a strong ability to handle day-to-day HR tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring employees.
Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Benefits Administration:
Assist in the management of employee benefits programs (health, retirement, etc.).
Help employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and questions.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
Employee Records & Documentation:
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
Ensure all personnel documentation is accurate and up to date, including contracts, certifications, and other HR forms.
HR Policies & Procedures:
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency across the organization.
Ensure policies are effectively communicated and followed by all employees.
HR Reporting & Analytics:
Qualifications:
Prepare HR-related reports and metrics for management and leadership teams.
Assist in data analysis to drive HR decisions and improvements.
Experience:
Minimum of one year of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Experience with HR software (HRIS) and MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
