Nature of Work
Peru State College is seeking a Campus Visits Coordinator. Peru State College seeks a dynamic professional who is passionate about providing students and families a quality campus visit experience through the admissions process. The Campus Visits Coordinator (CVC) serves as the campus lead to plan and implement programs for attracting and matriculating students at the undergraduate level. This position will focus on programming for prospective students and families including individual campus visits, group visits, recruitment events, and orientation. The CVC will be focused on providing quality campus experiences by reviewing all aspects of the campus visit or recruitment events. Duties also include hiring, training and supervising student employees. Some weekend work may be required. This position is non-exempt with regard to FLSA. This position is covered by the NSCPA negotiated agreement.

Examples of Work Performed
- Manage campus visits program
- Develop an effective working relationship with high school staff including counselors and teachers.
- Collaborate with marketing to create publications such as the Bobcat Book, event programs or posters.
- Develop effective working relationships with faculty, staff and coaches that meet with prospective students.
- Plan and coordinate recruitment activities and programs including campus visit programs and experiences, group visit experiences, and assist with New Student Weekend.
- Conduct tracking that will enable the delivery of pertinent reports of event attendance, year-to-year comparisons, and other relevant data.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the visit experience with regards to campus grounds and facilities.
- Plan and coordinate recruitment activities for specific groups. Create and implement assessments for all programming.
- Coordinate Admissions presence for on campus events such as Math Day, History Day, Business Contest, Weightlifting competition, and other relevant events.
- Provide training for student ambassadors and manage work schedules.
- Provide CRM (Customer Relationship Management) support including:
- Imports lists into CRM as needed
- Create event announcements RSVP forms in CRM
- Monitor CRM for duplicate records created by students signing up for campus events (using a different email address)
- Maintain and update college specific social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to promote the college and campus visits and events.
- Coordinate recruitment activities for high school student engagement prior to their senior year.
- Work with marketing to design and print invitations and marketing materials.
- Participate actively in College committee work and campus events.
- Participate in state, regional and national professional associations.
- Serve as a member of CRM workgroup to manage database and plan overall marketing and recruitment strategies.
- Represent the College at regional high schools, college fairs, in-person or virtually.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience with recruitment events preferred. A commitment to serving students and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Exceptional planning and attention to details, problem solving, time management, database, analytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also strongly preferred. Candidates with strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, and a desire for increasing professional development will find themselves well suited in this position.
