Nebraska Wesleyan University seeks to hire a results-oriented and energetic professional to join our Enrollment Management & Marketing team. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for strategic development and execution of social media strategies to support the university's goals.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position which requires some evening and weekend work includes a comprehensive package including health, vision and dental insurance benefits, retirement benefits, a generous holiday schedule, and both undergraduate and graduate tuition remission for among other benefits.
Responsibilities :
- Content creation : Writing engaging posts, developing visual graphics, creating video content, and curating relevant material for different social media platforms.
- Strategy development : Identifying target audiences, setting goals, creating a content calendar, and designing campaigns to achieve desired results. Responding to comments and messages and fostering positive interactions.
- Analytics and reporting : Tracking key metrics like impressions, engagement, reach, and conversions to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement. Staying up-to-date with emerging social media trends, platforms, and best practices to incorporate into strategies.
- Collaboration : Regularly collaborate with other stakeholders on campus managing social media accounts.
