POSITION OVERVIEW
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the overall operational administration and management of NEC Group’s warehouse located in Bloomfield, CT. This position will ensure inventory is accounted for in a safe and efficient manner. The warehouse supervisor will also be held accountable for warehouse cleanliness, order staging, loading and unloading trucks and use of customer inventory systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the implementation of all warehouse operations, including logistics, delivery, transportation, loading dock activity, and material management.
- Ensures an accurate inventory of products at all times through a maintained inventory control system.
- Works with the Project Teams and Warehouse Teams to coordinate the driver’s schedule and equipment delivery or transfers.
- Oversight of Warehouse Associates to ensure adherence to all warehouse processes and documentation requirements.
- Management of paperwork processing for all materials in and out of the facility.
- Maintain up to date asset tracking via customer systems.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Five plus (5 ) years of warehouse supervision
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to operate a Forklift
- MS Office Skills, specifically Excel
- Must be able to work for any US employer without current or future visa sponsorship
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Hand manipulation is required for grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, as well as below the shoulder for same. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and work at heights.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
