Hematology/Oncology Medical Director
About the Role:
- Seeking an experienced BC Hematology/Oncology Medical Director to lead a growing team of medical oncologists/hematologists and advanced practice providers in Eastern Tennessee.
- The Medical Director will oversee clinical operations, identify goals, ensure patient safety and quality care, meet patient experience targets, manage physicians and advanced practice providers, support clinical research development, and serve as a clinical liaison.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Oversight:
- Collaborate with leadership to set group/program goals and objectives.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and safe working environments.
- Patient Experience:
- Meet patient experience targets through effective communication and empathy.
- Human Resources:
- Manage physicians and advanced practice providers to achieve optimal performance.
- Clinical Research:
- Support clinical research development to advance cancer treatment options.
- Program Development:
- Develop and implement programs to improve cancer care services.
