Job Summary :
Provide advanced neonatal care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and procedures for infants ranging from normal to high-risk. Collaborate with physicians to manage neonatal cases, coordinate care, and respond to critical situations. Level III NICU.
Key Responsibilities :
Assess gestational age, interpret antenatal|perinatal history.
Perform newborn resuscitation, including intubation, cardiac compressions, and IV access.
Conduct physical exams and specialized procedures (e.g., umbilical catheterization, lumbar puncture, needle aspiration).
Order and interpret lab tests, imaging, and newborn screenings.
Prescribe phototherapy, antibiotics, and nutritional support.
Develop and implement neonatal care protocols.
Provide staff education and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
Experience : 2 years in neonatal care
Education : MSN
Licensure : RN & APRN (Hawaii)
Certifications : BLS (AHA), NPI required
