Reports to: Store Sales Manager, Assistant Store Sales Manager
Direct Reports: Sales Specialist
Primary Purpose: The Sales Lead drives sales growth by personally selling deep and across all product categories and delivering emotionally engaging customer experiences – consistent with the brand vision. The Sales Lead promotes a high-performance selling culture by directly managing peers.
Salary: $19/hr commission tips
Key Responsibilities:

Drives top line store sales and growth by personally selling to customers

Leads the sales floor and drives store results through the sales team and creating a selling environment
-
Oversees customer experience, overall appearance and day to day operations of the store, in partnership (or in absences of) with the Store Sales Manager/Assistant Sales Manager
-
Moves with intention throughout the store, connecting with multiple customers
-
Proactively engages with customers, reads cues and responds effectively
-
Creates a memorable connection by asking effective questions to identify customer needs and make a compelling product recommendation
-
Uses confident selling statement and is effective at overcoming customer objections
-
Displays expert product knowledge and takes initiative to elevate personal and peer knowledge of product categories
-
Participates in sales goal setting with manager and tracks individual performance towards the goal
-
Makes it a priority to understand the business and offers suggestions on how the store can be more productive
-
Creates enthusiasm for selling strategies by inspiring, supporting and mentoring others’ selling behaviors
-
Assists in training of new associates, serving as a shadow partner
-
Delivers a friendly and efficient point of sale (POS) experience processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

Previous experience leading associate teams

Proven ability to lead a pay for performance selling team is preferred
