Role Overview
We're seeking a passionate, self-motivated Field Marketing Intern to join our beverage startup in New York City. In this role, you'll drive business development initiatives by connecting Nectarine with premium coffee shops and specialty retailers across NYC's vibrant neighborhoods. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in field marketing, brand building, and business development while working directly with our founding team. Please note: this is an unpaid internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead creative outreach campaigns to identify and connect with potential retail partners across NYC
- Develop and execute innovative social media strategies to engage with local businesses
- Conduct field visits to build relationships with shop owners and managers
- Research and map target retailers that align with Nectarine's brand aesthetic and values
- Track and document all outreach efforts and maintain a detailed prospect database
- Support the preparation of sales materials and brand presentations
- Support the planning and execution of pop-up events across NYC
- Assist in coordinating and attending sales meetings with the founder
What We're Looking For
- Current undergraduate student with an interest in marketing, business, or related fields
- Strong interpersonal skills and natural ability to connect with people
- Self-starter mentality with excellent organizational skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for brand building and the specialty beverage industry
- Creative problem-solver who can think outside traditional outreach methods
- Understanding of social media platforms and their strategic business use
- Ability to represent our brand with sophistication and authenticity
- Must be based in NYC and able to travel throughout the city's boroughs
