Nectris Labs is immediately seeking a Production Tech to join our Daytona Beach team.
This is an entry level, full-time position. This is an on-site position working four 10 hour shifts in a fast-paced production setting.
All applicants must have a high-school diploma. Chemistry experience and/or manufacturing experience is preferred. Job-specific training will be provided to the right candidate.
Overview:
The Production Technician supports and facilitates daily production operations; performs routine chemical conversions, extractions and solvent recovery under the supervision of a production manager, and complies with GMP track and trace requirements and documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs general laboratory operations, including chemical conversions, extractions, solvent recovery and finished products according to standard operating procedures.
- Documents work performed in accordance with established GMP protocols; compiles data into lab reports
- Prepares samples for analysis
- Performs routine daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of production instruments and workspace
- Assistance in packaging and shipping of orders
- Reviews SOPs and guidance documents to ensure all procedures accurately reflect laboratory practices
- Maintains appropriate sample custody, control, and hazardous waste disposal
- Maintain safety standards with adequate PPE use and safe handling of potentially hazardous materials.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
General Qualifications:
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment and adhere to written SOP’s.
- Ability to comfortably lift and move 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong math skills and ability to perform basic calculations.
- Good writing and documentation skills
- Good attention to detail
Education Requirement
- High School diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including MS Word and Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a laboratory setting or working with hazardous chemicals preferred
