Job Summary:
Nederman Shared Services is looking for an engaged and driven Business Controller for their Process technology (PT) Americas division based in their office in Charlotte, NC. As a Business Controller, you will be part of the global finance function and report to the CFO of Nederman Americas with a dotted to VP of Nederman PT Americas. For the right person, this position can lead to opportunities and development within the Nederman group which operates in 30 countries in 5 continents.

This role will have responsibility for overall accounting and analysis of the financial performance of Nederman PT Americas business and for reporting to PT divisional management. Responsibilities include identifying, understanding and communicating complex issues and supporting senior management by initiating and driving projects to improve and develop business performance. Must provide relevant analysis and recommendations in order to enable Nederman PT Americas to achieve its targets and commitments. You will be able to contribute as member of the management team for Nederman PT Americas and have overall responsibility for the budget and forecasting processes, follow up and analysis. You will also prepare and present material for senior management and be part of the Americas Shared Services financial leadership team. The role is supported by a senior accountant dedicated to Nederman PT Americas.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall accounting, reporting, and analysis of the financial performance of 4 business units in Nederman PT Americas and for reporting to group and divisional management.
• Responsible for the accurate treatment of Project Accounting and revenue recognition (percentage of Completion).
• Preparation and presentation of monthly financial results reporting, monthly estimates, strategic plan and annual budget.
• Participate in the development and definition of reporting systems for the purpose of optimizing operational procedures and/or cost reduction.
• Work with Sales/Manufacturing Engineers and Operations to drive monthly results and communicate results to business leaders and Develop accurate models of the business to forecast Bookings, sales & earnings with minimal deviation.

Your Experience & Education

• BS Degree in Accounting or Business required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industry or public accounting in an accounting, FP&A or finance role.
• Strong ERP skills.
• Knowledge of IFS Software experience preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
