Job Summary:
Nederman Shared Services is looking for an engaged and driven Senior Business Controller based in their office in Thomasville, NC. As a Senior Business Controller, you will be part of the global finance function and report to the CFO of Nederman Americas with a dotted to Nordfab LLC Managing Director. For the right person, this position can lead to opportunities and development within the Nederman group which operates in 30 countries in 5 continents.
This role will have responsibility for overall accounting and analysis of the financial performance of Nordfab US business and for reporting to Duct & Filter Technology divisional management. Responsibilities include identifying, understanding and communicating complex issues and supporting senior management by initiating and driving projects to improve and develop business operational performance. Must provide relevant analysis and recommendations in order to enable Nordfab US to achieve its targets and commitments. You will be able to contribute as member of the management team for Nordfab US and have overall responsibility for the budget and forecasting processes, follow up and analysis. You will also prepare and present material for senior management and be part of the Americas Shared Services financial leadership team. The role is supported by a cost accountant/factory controller dedicated to Nordfab LLC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall accounting, reporting, and analysis of the financial performance of Nordfab US for reporting to group and divisional management.
Preparation and presentation of monthly financial results reporting, monthly estimates, strategic plan and annual budget.
Participate in the development and definition of reporting systems for the purpose of optimizing operational procedures and/or cost reduction.
Keep informed of changes in manufacturing operations associated with the input/output of cost data and to formulate cost accounting policy revisions and/or recommendations to align these modifications.
Prepares production cost data and formulates cost accounting policy revisions and/or recommendations to align these modifications.
Preparation of production cost data and valuation of inventory.
On-going evaluation of open WIP jobs and analysis of costs vs. budget.
Monthly evaluation of manufacturing expenses and variances.
Other duties as necessary in the scope of this position.
Job Specifications:
Education/certifications required:
BS Degree in Accounting or Business required.
Experience required:
3-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong ERP skills.
Knowledge of IFS Software experience preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
