Mechanical Technician

Clean air is a cornerstone of sustainable production.   Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Assist in assembling and tear down of industrial equipment (valves, pipe fittings, basic electrical equipment)  Equipment includes all thermal separations units/systems, and granulation equipment/systems Repair pumps and drives, hydraulics and vacuum systems Help rebuild lease or test equipment Clean and maintain thermal and granulation equipment, pipe fittings and bolt bins Participate with test center group to set up test equipment for scheduled client tests.  Ensure the test facility, auxiliary equipment, customer office is in excellent condition to receive clients. Assist Test Engineer in running trials, troubleshooting mechanical problems, participate in client discussions, and information exchange in support of the sales effort.  Clean equipment and test center after trial. Grounds and building maintenance Provide general assistance in the LCI office/warehouse as needed.  Including prep of operation manuals, packaging parts, and other duties as assigned. All other duties as assigned outside normal scope of work that contribute toward the company meeting its goals and objectives.  Your Experience & Education  High school diploma Good mechanical aptitude 1-5 years’ experience preferably in a pilot plant facility or R&D environment Auto mechanic/good with hand tools/power tools/plant maintenance Experience or training in mechanical/industrial plant maintenance, heat and mass transfer systems, energy transfer devices, electric devices, hydraulics and vacuum systems, machine maintenance, auto/diesel maintenance Forklift training Your Skills & Traits: Experience with mechanical seals, variable frequency drives, hot oil systems, general electrical knowledge, compressed air units, carpentry Computer proficiency Good writing and communication skills    What we offer is more than just a job… An opportunity to be part of a truly innovative and fast-growing international company.
