Job Summary:
Nederman manufacturing and logistics is looking for an organized, detail oriented quality control inspector to join our team. This individual will work closely with Nederman’s QHSE manager to ensure products coming in and out of the facility meet all regulations, specifications, and design requirements set by Nederman and governing agencies. The quality control inspector will be an integral part of Nederman’s efforts to lower customer claims, increase profitability, and provide a higher quality product to our customers.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Examining incoming/outgoing parts for quality defects, piece count verification, or nonconformance in accordance to our quality standards
Assisting Quality Control Technician in part repairs
Completing various tasks, both Quality and shop floor related within our ERP
Using precision measurement devices and print drawings to confirm conformance of parts
Work closely with QHSE manager and Quality Tech on various projects and daily duties
Possess and maintain a thorough understanding of AWS/ASME Welding Codes, welding, abrasive blast finishes, paint finishes and galvanized coatings
QualificationsYour Experience & Education
At least one year of experience in a quality role is preferred

Read, write, and speak English fluently
Ability to add, subtract, and divide numbers accurately
Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to retain knowledge
Good attendance and punctual start time required
Basic computer skills
Verbal and written communication
Willingness to be a team player
Ability to use hand tools is a plus but will train the right candidate
Physical Demands:
Standing, sitting, bending, or squatting for extended periods of time
Ability to move or lift items up to 50 lbs repeatedly
