Job Description
Manage and maintain Needham Bank Vendor Management, Procurement and IT administrative functions. Coordinating and completing vendor due diligence, procurement evaluations, support negotiations, and invoice reviews for all major technology vendors, monthly IT performance report. This role will oversee the procurement processes, manage vendor relationships, and mitigate risks associated with third-party vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall responsibility for IT vendor management program, ensuring compliance with FFIEC regulationsOversee the entire vendor lifecycle, including selection, due diligence, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and terminationEnsure vendors meet the Bank's performance standards and compliance obligations through regular performance reviews and auditsEstablish and maintain procurement processes to ensure efficiency, transparency, and compliance with business and regulatory requirementsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to drive value and foster collaborationCoordinate as needed with PMO, Legal, Risk & Compliance, and other business units for Vendor evaluations, due diligence, and negotiationsReview and reconcile monthly Line of Business Profitability reports with SVP of ITWork with Risk & Compliance Third-Party Risk Management as needed to coordinate and align on activitiesParticipate in developing the IT Budget and Strategic Plan annually, work with lines of business and vendors to obtain accurate pricingPrepares proposals, reports, presentation material statistical summaries, and other documents and communications that are complex and non-routineProvide training and support to internal teams on vendor management policies, procedures, and activitiesReview, validate and approve invoices related to the IT Department, ensuring appropriate stakeholders are informed (PMO, Accounting, LOB)Prepare detailed recommendations, reports and presentations on vendor proposals, assessments, performance and compliance status for senior managementCreates technology related instructional material as directedCoordinates budget, data, and submissionPerform additional duties as requested, needed or assignedExperience and Skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of vendor management & lifecycle, procurement processes, and administrationAbility to analyze, interpret and communicate departmental and district policies, rules, and regulations.Ability to compose letters and memos, and PowerPoint presentations.Maintains a high degree of confidentiality on sensitive issues.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate with users with all levels of computer experienceFamiliarity with PMO, Legal, and regulatory compliance landscapeAbility to adhere to Needham Bank's Core Values ( Quick-Decision Making, Reliability, Relationship-Based Focus & Quality Service )Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, function independently, adapt to change, and make sound judgment callsProficiency in vendor management software and toolsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience;Strong understanding of Federal Reserve and FFIEC requirements and application to vendor management7 or more years banking vendor management and technology administration experienceDemonstrated analytical experience and proven experience in developing and implementing vendor management strategies and procurement processesCertified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager (CRVPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)Strong organizational skillsWORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
