What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Athletic Director & Coordinator of Club Sports (SY25-26) position at Needham High School?

To enhance our goals of supporting every child, Needham Public Schools seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Position:
- handling transportation and bus schedules;
- scheduling and securing officials for all events;
- communications and sports information work dealing with local and regional media and social media outlets;
- website upkeep and maintenance, including online scheduling of events and MIAA online tournament entry process;
- tracking of student-athlete eligibility along with database entry;
- athletic and special event planning and implementation;
- athletic event set-up, take-down and administrative overage, including night, weekend and vacation week competitions and activities;
- and oversight of inventory, ordering, allocation and return process for team uniforms and equipment.
- Dynamic candidates possessing strong organizational skills and attention to detail, who are prepared to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment are encouraged to apply.
- Coaching and athletic administration experience are preferred but not required.
