The NEEDS Center is growing on the Cape!
Now offering a $3,250 sign-on bonus ($1,625 upon hire and $1,625 after 6 months of employment) to hired Full Time candidates .
Hourly rate is $21-$22 an hour
The NEEDS Center is a non-profit organization and right now we have 8 openings for Direct Care Specialists who will assist and support adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible while enjoying all aspects of Community Living.
Full-time and Part-time positions available in our residential home in Sandwich, MA. These positions are primarily either second shift, overnights, and / or weekends.
These are entry-level jobs with great potential for career growth and training is provided
Responsibilities include :
- Assisting and supporting individuals in daily routines.
- Supporting residents in developing daily living skills, such as cooking, and cleaning.
- Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning common areas and ensuring personal spaces are tidy.
- Implement clinical, educational and vocational programs.
- Observe and record data for programs established in their Individual and Behavior support plans.
- Participate with other team members to create a therapeutic environment that includes regular community membership.
