We are seeking applications for a dynamic and experienced Structural Lead to work in our Atlanta Office and oversee all structural engineering efforts in Georgia. As the Structural Lead, you will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring the seamless execution of projects and fostering a collaborative environment. You will have the chance to work on a diverse array of projects, from new construction to replacements, and play a key role in the expansion of our bridge group in our rapidly growing Atlanta Office. Key Responsibilities
- Lead all structural engineering efforts in Georgia.
- Manage and mentor a team of 4 direct reports.
- Oversee 15-plus active structural projects in Georgia, including traditional and alternative delivery.
- Collaborate with a large bridge group within the company, particularly in the rapidly growing Atlanta Office.
- Facilitate work sharing across the organization, contributing to over 100 active projects within the structures group.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Structural Engineer in Georgia, preferred.
- Experience managing a team of engineers..
- 10-20 years of progressive bridge/structural design experience.A minimum of 4 years of experience working with GDOT as a KTL, preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenBridge Modeler, InRoads and/or Open Roads Designer
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as OpenBridge Designer, Merlin, Leap Steel, CSI Bridge or other similar bridge design software
- Familiar with DOT Design Guidelines and Standards, AASHTO LRFD Design Guidelines.
