Neel-Schaffer seeks responses from qualified applicants for the position of Project Engineer/Manager to work in our Hattiesburg (MS) location. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in designing a wide variety of civil related projects. These projects primarily include transportation systems (aviation, roadway, parking lots, pedestrian pathways, etc.) and drainage/utility systems for local and state governmental entities. Project Management and construction experience is advantageous but not a requirement for this position.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 6-15 years of design experience on general civil projects, including schematic development, preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation
- Experience leading and managing design staff is advantageous
- Strong verbal communication and analytical skills
- Familiar with MDOT Standards, AASHTO Roadside Design Guide, MUTCD, ADA, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Valid driver’s license
