The Position
Neelands has an opportunity for a Construction Project Manager to join our team in Murphy, North Carolina. This role will be reporting to the General Manager, Southeast Division.
Description of duties and responsibilities
Managing construction projects across South-Eastern States
Prepare various types of competitive quotes for various projects
Oversee the scheduling of labor hours and equipment deliveries
Ensuring timely ordering and delivery of services, materials, and equipment
Ensuring client satisfaction throughout the life cycle of the project
Conduct sign-off on warranty work orders and invoices related to construction projects
Coordinate and manage projects as allocated within projected margins
Attend site meetings as required plus conduct post-project reviews and visits
Maintain accurate records of projects for future review/analysis
Participate in monthly meetings to review Accounts Receivables exception report and follow-up with customers on outstanding tasks
Supplier Engagement – Build relationships with key suppliers, look for new suppliers, sourcing, shipping.
Answer and resolve customer inquiries
Travel across Southeast USA when required
Qualifications:
3-5 years’ experience with Project Management in the refrigeration and HVAC industry; other fields of construction management will be considered
2-4 years’ experience preparing quotes for customers
Strong working knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability and willingness to travel for business
Licensing in Georgia state an asset
Bilingualism in Spanish would be considered an asset
