Qualified candidates will have:
- Experience building ground-up Multifamily, Mixed-use, Senior Living, Student Living, and/or Hotel projects—$15m
- A minimum of 5 years experience
- Willingness to travel in the Midwest
- The ability to build and maintain meaningful professional relationships
- Local market knowledge
- A strong understanding of construction, and more importantly, a willingness to learn.
Job Skills & Abilities:
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to interpret complex construction documents (drawings, specifications) and understand contract terms (prime contracts, subcontracts, change orders).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Decision Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges and make timely decisions.
- Project Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Leadership: Strong leadership qualities to inspire and guide a team, delegate tasks efficiently, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of multifamily construction industry standards, best practices, and regulations.
- Technology: Proficiency in utilizing computer software (Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific applications) to manage project data and communication.
- Experience with Procore.
