- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Engage in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation for clients with dementia or memory care needs.
- Document client progress and any changes in behavior or condition accurately for case management purposes.
- Utilize conflict management skills to address any issues that arise effectively while maintaining a positive environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices and memory care techniques is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Previous experience in patient care or senior care settings is an advantage.
