We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Lead to play a key role in our software development lifecycle. This individual will work closely with stakeholders to define high-level design artifacts, deliver high-quality code, and lead validation efforts for various testing types.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-level design artifacts and ensure successful implementation, transition, and warranty activities.
• Participate in a learning culture that values teamwork, collaboration, excellence, and diversity.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology, with 3 years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• Located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Hartford, CT, or willing to relocate to the area. Travel may be required to site locations as needed.
• Experience in DevOps, Azure, and related technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 7 years of software engineering experience in DevOps, including building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
• Excellent team player with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong technical skills, hands-on experience with Git, build tools, and automated testing.
• Proficient in Azure cloud implementations, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, and container schedulers.
• Familiarity with streaming platforms, real-time data at massive scale, and relational databases like Azure Cosmos DB.
