Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and support decision-making with data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in web services and SQL, with familiarity in using Splunk for log and performance analysis being a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and gather business requirements.
• Analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and create detailed documentation of functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis to support reporting and decision-making.
• Engage in the creation, implementation, and support of web services, ensuring data flow between various systems and applications.
• Provide technical support for SQL-based reporting and troubleshooting.
• Utilize Splunk for log management, data analysis, and monitoring of system performance.
• Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to deliver insights that drive business improvements.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure business requirements are translated into technical solutions effectively.
• Perform data validation and ensure the integrity of all analysis and reporting.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet business needs.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Web Services (REST, SOAP) and experience integrating services across different systems.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases, data manipulation, and reporting.
• Solid understanding of business processes, requirements gathering, and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Splunk for system monitoring, log analysis, and reporting.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 9-12 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or similar fields.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and translating business needs into technical solutions.
