Job Description
Client is seeking an Sr Data Modeler. The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements, Design, Development. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, Texas or be willing to relocate to the area.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Data modeling(Both conceptual logical and physical)
- SQL and database design
- Good understanding of Azure.
- Experience with IBM infosphere, SQL server data tools.
- Proficient in RDBMS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in NOSQL database like MongoDB, cassandra, or Hadoop
- Working knowledge of ETL tool.
- familiarity with aws, azure
- Data governance and MDM
