Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Executive at Neeyaan. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, pitching products and services to potential clients, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role also involves meeting sales targets, creating sales strategies, and contributing to overall sales team success.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Years of Relevant Experience: 2 to 10 years of Sales or Business Development or Category Management
  • Experience with Categories: Health Care, Nutrition, Life Sciences and ideally Vitamins and Supplements
  • Software and technical skills consistent with a business leader
  • Sales, Business Development, and Client Relationship Management skills
  • Experience in lead generation and sales pitching
  • Negotiation and Contract Management skills
  • Agility (able and willing to wear multiple hats, without hesitation)
  • Analytical and Strategic (but does not need piles of data to pull trigger)
  • Influencing (proven ability to persuade others towards an idea or goal)
  • Organized and attention-to-detail approach (strong tactical execution)
  • Strong relationship management, self-awareness and interpersonal skills (high EQ)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Key Responsibilities:


1. Revenue and Profit Growth:

  • Lead the expansion of contract business and increase revenue and profitability for key contract accounts.
  • Implement tactical initiatives to meet or exceed the 2025 CM budget, aligned with financial objectives.

2. Strategy and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the SVP of Sales to refine and enhance the CM growth strategy.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to identify new opportunities for key contract accounts.
  • Develop and execute business development initiatives to strengthen existing relationships and acquire new contract accounts.

3. Leadership and Team Development:

  • Provide leadership and oversight to the contract CSR team as applicable, fostering their development and success.

4. Sales Execution:

  • Develop and execute mini business plans (OGSMs) for existing customers, focusing on growth initiatives.
  • Qualify new business opportunities, aligning Neeyaan’s capabilities and core competencies with customer needs.
  • Execute contract strategies by working closely with key decision-makers at customer organizations.
  • Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, tracking and conversion through HubSpot CRM.
  • Facilitate post-sales meetings and communicate follow-up actions to internal and external teams.

5. Objectives and Performance:

  • Continuously seek to improve product capabilities, market knowledge, and competitive insights to drive business development efforts.
  • Develop annual sales targets for assigned market channels, striving to meet and exceed budget objectives.
  • Monitor and manage profitability per customer and product, in alignment with the company’s long-term plan.
  • Analyze cost models and negotiate repricing programs to optimize profitability for both new and existing business.

6. General Management:

  • Design and create engaging presentation tools and decks for use across the organization.
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and training of new cross-functional processes related to contract sales.
  • Understand and manage the processes and documentation required to secure and prioritize sales cross-functionally.
  • Negotiate financial terms with customers to achieve favorable agreements, rather than simply accepting their terms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within the customer's organization at all levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with management and Neeyaan personnel, ensuring that customer relationships are strategically prioritized.
