Seasonal Delivery Driver
For this position we are looking for an Assistant Delivery Driver who is available on Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8am to 3pm to assist in taking deliveries to Scoop Shops to Wholesale Accounts with Delivery Lead and Production Supervisor. This position is a seasonal position from May to August with an opportunity for a longer term if the position is available.
Responsibilities
- Assist with rotating product based on FIFO (first in/first out)
- Pushing/pulling carts with frozen products up and down ramps
- Carrying frozen product up and down stairs
- Efficiently and safely delivering products to local wholesale and retail accounts throughout the weekly production schedule
- Effectively represent our company while distributing products throughout the central coast.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries
Skills/Requirements
- Delivery experience is a plus
- Great attention to details and cleanliness
- Ability to continuously lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- A clean driving record and current drivers license
- A positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment
- Ability to interact with other shipping and receiving associates while professionally maintaining brand image
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent problem solving skills
