Position Summary
The Event Operations Specialist at Negranti Creamery is responsible for ensuring the smooth setup, execution, and teardown of public and private events. This role focuses on the hands-on operational aspects of events, including preparing and transporting equipment, setting up serving stations, and providing exceptional service during the event. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and customer service focused.
Key Responsibilities
Event Set Up Preparation :
Transport event equipment and supplies (ice cream carts, freezers, serving utensils) to the venue.
Set up serving stations, any decor, and displays / signage
Inspect and prepare equipment (carts, coolers, serving utensils) to ensure functionality and cleanliness before each event.
Stock all necessary supplies, including ice cream, napkins and back up items to meet the event requirements.
Event Execution
Serve ice cream and other treats to guests in a friendly, professional manner.
Ensure serving areas are clean, organized and well-maintained throughout the event
Monitor inventory levels during the event to ensure smooth service without shortages
Interact with guests to provide a positive and memorable Negranti Creamery experience.
Event Teardown & Cleanup :
Dismantle serving stations and pack up all equipment and supplies after the event.
Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and returned to storage.
Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment post-event and report any issues.
Organize leftover supplies and inventory for future events.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in event setup, catering, or hospitality (preferred but not required). We will train to our event standards.
Ability to life and carry event equipment (up to 60lbs)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Friendly, professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
Punctual, reliable and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to event sites.
