As an Ice Cream Scooper at Negranti Creamery, you will need to maintain the high company standards of a positive work environment. Ensure that all customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and customer service is quick, efficient and friendly. Ensure that all products and merchandise are displayed effectively to help maximize sales and profitability. Maintain the high company standards of a positive work environment.
Our ideal candidate is someone who can present our frozen treats to each customer with a friendly attitude while educating the customers on Sheep’s milk and the nutritional benefits.
Essential Functions (by priority)
Customer Service (How we want the customer to feel)
- Welcomed, enthusiastic, engaged, ie : “Hello, Welcome to Negranti! Let us know if we can answer any questions for you!”, “What brings you into Negranti today?”, “Can we interest you in some of the following products to be able to take home and enjoy?” (Pies, Waffle Chips, Pints, etc.)
- Treat each guest as if they are a guest in your home. We only have 2-5 minutes with a customer typically and this small amount of time can change the trajectory of their day; always leaving them with a positive association with teh creamery.
- Encourage the team to give a free topping or cone for a special occasion, to elevate the guest experience. ie : Honeymoon, Birthday, Engagement, Anniversary, etc.
- Prepare ice cream scoops in shop while creating a friendly and energetic atmosphere for customers
- Efficiently handle high volumes of cash and POS system
- Communicate with team members on shop performance
- Assist in creating a “Team Player” environment
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a “Can-Do” attitude
- Be able to adapt and change focus when needed
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
- Every guest is thanked as they leave the establishment. Thank them at handoff of cone / scoops, thank them at register when paying and encourage them to come back again. (Opportunity to speak of Square Loyalty program- special offerings to returning guests. Encourage them to sign up.)
