Nehalem Valley Care Center (NVCC) is on the northern coast in Wheeler, Oregon and is a not-for-profit 50-bed SNF / ICF facility managed by Dane Jensen and Erica Knepper of Canyon Wren Consulting, LLC. It is part of the Nehalem Bay Health District which is managed by a 5-person Board of Directors.

To help us continue our commitment to making a real difference, we are currently looking for a Certified Dietary Manager to lead and manage the dietary department.
The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the operations of the food and nutrition services department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations and as directed by the Administrator.
EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE :
A Certified Dietary Manager certification is required for the role.
We will consider all levels of experience for this role but our ideal candidate will have experience in a Skilled nursing Facility as a Certified Dietary Manager and / or other Department Head position.
