Description
Well established GC seeks Project Manager specializing in multi-family construction, commercial and new construction. Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills are a must. Applicant must be self-motivated, well organized, and schedule orientated with a minimum 5 years Project Management experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple projects concurrently
- Subcontractor and material supplier buy-outs
- Contract and change order processing including developing scope of work for each trade
- Process monthly owner and subcontractor AIA requisitions
- Maintain project construction schedule
- Maintain client relations with architects, owners, subcontractors and vendors
- Organize & attend weekly job meetings
- Must be proficient with Timberline, Procore and MS Office Project or equal
Summary:
The Project Manager will have full responsibility for the overall success and management of the project. The Project Manager will act in a professional manner at all times as a representative of NEI. The project manager must posses the following competencies:
Core Responsibilities:
- Understands the plans and specifications.
- Project Document management
- Develop and maintain Project Construction Schedule
- Develop and maintain project procurement schedule.
- Issue sub-contracts for all trades including a comprehensive scope of work.
- Issue Purchase orders for material, equipment.
- Provide project submittal administration.
- Provide project accounting and associated reports.
- Write, log and track project RFIs.
- Submit Applications for payment.
- Manage sub-contractor payments.
- Change Order management.
- Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to the plans and specifications.
- Provide Meeting Minutes.
- Punch List and project closeout.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field.
- Exemplary communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage, prioritize and complete multiple deadlines.
- A professional demeanor.
- A self-starter attitude and proactive approach.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential correspondence.
- Familiarity with basic industry terminology and processes.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience with Procore Software is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and internet navigation
