What you will do:
The role of General Manager at NCG Cinema is both people and business focused. Running the business includes (but is not limited to) staffing, building repairs and maintenance, budgeting, and inventory management. Leading an engaged team requires passion, empathy, enthusiasm, time management and dedication.
Position requirements:
- Prior experience successfully operating a business and being responsible and accountable for the business results
- Prior experience managing people including interviewing, hiring, disciplining, promoting
- Enjoys problem solving and stays calm and resourceful when unanticipated challenges arise
- Demonstrates high integrity and work ethic - leads by example not by telling but by showing
- Enjoys making important decisions and being accountable to their results
- Willing and able to perform any job within the theatre including cleaning and sanitizing, concessions, guest services, and theatre operations
- Willingness and ability to work a minimum of 45 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Lift up to 40 pounds and maintain balance while carrying heavy and odd-shaped objects
