Job Description
We are seeking a human resources assistant to join our team! The human resources assistant is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resources operations with primary duties of on-boarding and off-boarding. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, ethical, independent self-starter, and team player to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts new hire on-boarding and orientation
- Performs HRIS data entry
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of personnel files
- Performs reference, background, credit, education, and employment verification. Plus, other necessary or mandated new hire functions
- I-9 verification through E-verify
- Assists employees with basic interpretation of HR inquiries
- Assists with human resources projects
- HR inbox maintenance
- Answer phone/voicemail
- Performs clerical support for the HR department
Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or human resources degree or certification
- Prior related human resources and on-boarding experience preferred
- HRIS, ADP Workforce Now knowledge desired
