Role Description
We're currently looking for Front Office Staff to join our team. In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll play a crucial part in creating a welcoming environment for our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient check-ins and check-outs, verifying insurance information, and handling various administrative tasks. You’ll work closely with medical providers and staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Schedule appointments, confirming and rescheduling as necessary
- Collect patient information and verify insurance details
- Answer phone calls, addressing patient inquiries or directing them to the appropriate department
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Process billing and insurance claims
- Assist with office organization and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Support other administrative functions as needed to ensure seamless clinic operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front office or administrative role, preferably in a medical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Fluency in Spanish is a bonus
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree or higher preferred)
