Job Summary:
The Sr. Data Analyst generates data and creates complex user-friendly reports related to clinic, financial, and grant performance, utilizing a range of system applications.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Extracts data from various sources and ensures data quality is adequate.

Develops and maintains databases and data systems.

Performs analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data.

Uses statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets.

Prepares reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.

Designs reports and dashboards needed to execute and measure short term and long term clinical and operational initiatives.

Works with internal members to identify data and analysis needs, and meets those needs by designing programmatic analyses, reporting capabilities, and ad-hoc analysis.

Defines business requirements to collect, translate and aggregate new data.

Designs and implements new software.

Assists in compiling and submitting reports as required.

Attends, participates, and/or assists in meetings, trainings, community outreach activities, continuing education opportunities, and other activities as required.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Understanding of computer languages used within database.

Understanding of database design and construction.

Problem-solving aptitude.

Expertise in statistics.
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, Advanced Analytics or other related fields

3 years of data analysis work experience required.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).

Able to use hands and fingers for fine manipulation to touch, pick, pinch, and grasp and perform repetitive motions.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises.
