Job Description
Neighborhood Urgent Care is looking for highly trained and experienced caregivers to passionately care for patients.
A successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties, including but not limited to:
- X-Ray/Medical Assistant
- Triage Patients
- Take vital signs.
- Document patient data including medical history.
- Administer injections as directed.
- Become certified in administering all lab tests and documenting lab standards.
- Drawing blood samples.
- Perform all diagnostic x-rays if certified.
- Report to Center Administrator / Physician on Duty.
- Assist in care of patients.
- Collect urine samples.
- Execute DOT and non-DOT Drug Screens.
- Execute spirometer tests.
- Execute BAT tests.
- Execute any additional lab tests that may be required (CBC, strep tests, flu tests, etc.).
- Maintain lab controls.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 months post-graduate experience working as a licensed X-ray Technologist or Medical Assistant.
- Basic understanding of digital X-ray services.
- Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA and OSHA.
- Professional appearance at all times.
- Warm, friendly attitude with excellent patient interaction skills.
- Team player.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Adaptable in different situations.
- Able to multi-task and work independently.
- Must be flexible with hours/shifts. Must be able to work weekends and 12-hour shifts.
- Experience in Occupational Health including Workers Comp preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
