Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network, server and Microsoft 365 environment to ensure optimal performance, security and reliability. Lead network projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Design, configure, and manage LAN / WAN networks, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
Manage and monitor the Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange, Teams, Entra, Defender, etc.
Responsible for the deployment and management of servers in a virtualized environment.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Automate network and business processes and tasks using PowerShell scripting or other automation tools.
Implement and enforce network security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Manage network-related projects, from planning and implementation to maintaining and optimization.
Perform routine system updates, backups and preventative maintenance.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation for network and system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting.
Maintain backup solution and replication tools for disaster recovery.
Maintain group policy settings for both users and equipment.
Provide support for all users.
Responsible for maintaining written procedures for position.
Ensure regulatory procedures are followed in accordance with Federal and State Regulations and updated as necessary.
Maintain knowledge of and comply with Bank Secrecy Act as it relates to this position.

Ability to use a calculator.

Ability to type accurately.

Ability to use and learn office machines (i.e., copier, fax, terminals).

Ability to lift and carry equipment.

Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Ability to obtain and maintain Louisiana driver's license.

Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VMware, SQL, Endpoint Protection, IDS / IPS, Windows Server, and Windows 10.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in network administration with a focus on enterprise-level environments. Professional certifications such as CompTIA Network , CCNP, and Microsoft certifications highly preferred.

FLSA Status : Exempt
