Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring the bar area is well-stocked, clean, and organized. Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as liquor, garnishes, glassware, and ice as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Help with food handling and serving during events or busy shifts.
- Operate the POS system to assist with cash handling and processing orders when necessary.
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all bar needs are met efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guests' needs and requests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment, particularly during peak hours in nightclubs or events.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
