Job Details:
- Shifts: 2 PM - 9 PM, including weekends
- Location: Neighbors Dog Park, a fun, energetic environment for both dogs and people
- Job Type: Part-time, flexible hours
- Work Environment: Outdoors—be prepared to work in varying weather conditions, moving around and standing for up to 6 hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Play & Supervision: Interact with and supervise dogs of all sizes to ensure they are safe, happy, and enjoying their time at the park. Engage in playful activities to stimulate them mentally and physically.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Clean up after dogs, ensuring all areas of the park (including play zones and walkways) are tidy and hygienic. Regularly check waste stations and keep the environment clean for all guests.
- Enforcing Park Rules: Help ensure park rules are followed for the safety and enjoyment of all dogs and visitors. This includes supervising dog interactions, managing group dynamics, and addressing any behavior concerns.
- Customer Interaction: Be a friendly and approachable point of contact for park visitors, answering questions and guiding them through the park's amenities.
Requirements:
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be physically active and able to stand/move around for up to 6 hours
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both dogs and park visitors
- Dependable, responsible, and able to enforce park rules effectively
- Love for dogs and the ability to care for them in a safe and enjoyable manner
