Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our Quick Turn Assembly team. In this role, you will assemble, install, drill, countersink, and bond prefabricated parts by following work instructions and blueprints. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and engineering requirements to complete assembly tasks.
• Align, bond, drill, and fasten components using rivets, screws, sealants, and other materials.
• Set up and adjust assembly machine controls to regulate speed, pressure, and clearance.
• Position metal pieces manually or using tools to safely and properly complete assembly.
• Utilize CAD/CAM technology for computer-controlled machines.
• Perform drilling, trimming, measuring, marking, installing, fastening, and sealing of materials.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing shop procedures, sealants, mix ratios, shelf life, and material types.
• Ensure compliance with FOD (Foreign Object Debris) policies and prevention measures.
• Utilize measuring tools, jigs, fixtures, and shop aids to maintain required specifications.
• Input job activity into the MRP system (Epicor) and verify materials and prior operations.
• Assist in preventive maintenance of equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic experience in the use of hand tools.
• Prior sheet metal experience in aerospace or equivalent industry preferred.
• Familiarity with AS9100 Standards or equivalent quality standards.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and job tracking.
